Pakistan beat the most favorite team of ICC CT17 in first semifinal at Cardiff by 8 wickets with the brilliant performance in all departments.
Captain Sarfaraz Ahmad won the toss and chose to field first and his bowlers backed him completely.
Shadab Khan , Junaid Khan and Debutante Roman Raees performed well while Hassan Ali was outstanding who took three top batsmen wickets.
Pakistan Ex captain and senior opener Azhar Ali said 212 was not a big total to chase and i totally gave credit to bowlers who restrict England.
When me and young boy Fakhar Zaman were batting i told him no nedd to worry or hurry just do your natural game and he did as per plan. I was on the crease to support him and that's why we won the match.
English team who was unbeaten through out the tournament was batted first and manged 211 runs with much difficulty, there were not a single fifty from the top seven batsmen. while Pakistan who was the cornered team after defeat from India showed the best game of their tournament and beat England in all departments
