It was brilliant day for the Hafeez as maiden captain victory against Aussies at MCG which was not only to equalize by 1-1, the five ODI matches series but plenty of other records also produced parallel to it. Pakistan defeat Australia in Australia after 12 years, got victory at MCG after 35 years and a victory after 16 consecutive defeats from Australia in Australia, all are now written in record book against only one day and that is 15^th January 2016.

This match was same for skipper smith as he won the toss and elected to bat as Aussies are famoud to do same most of the time when they playing in Australia, but this time Hafeez, Immad, Malik the trio become the death cell for Aussies in their 24 over’s. these three 24 over and in 144 bowled deliveries 71 was dot balls ( Immad waseem 33, Hafeez 28 in 10 overs each while Shoaib Malik10 dot balls in 4 over). On the other hand the fast bowling trio (Amir, Junaid and Hasal Ali ) also impressive in the form of dot balls, they hurdled Australian batsmen to made runs on 32, 31, 29 balls respectively.Amir dot balls were 32 in 9.2 over, Junaid’s 31 dot balls in 8 overs and Hasan ali also shared 29 dot balls in his 7 over.

That was the real thing that changed the phenomenon of the match for Aussies and restricted them just on 220 chase able runs. The key role played in these dozens of dot balls by captain SPD Smith who played 101 balls and scored 60 runs in his 149 minutes batting.

Pakistan Cricket team who is still typical in their batting style with the average of just not more than five runs per over also on the same pace but because the total was at least 40 runs less than the expectation therefore they won the match was said by the Australian captain.

Pakistan no doubt got the victory but now time to maintain it in Sydney as well.
