PSL has yet to start on 22nd
but Trophy unveiled in the thrilling air way

Pakistan Super league event of the year
presenting by Pakistan Cricket board for third season will start on 22nd
of Feburary in eye catching jaw breaking opening ceremony at Dubai Cricket
stadium but before this the PSL Trophy 2018 unveiling ceremony also thrilled
through the air ways of Helicopter. The trophy borough into the stadium in the helicopter
and all the 6 captains enjoyed the ride and opening ceremony with enthusiastic
cross words of defending champion Darren Sami, Imad Waseem, Shoeb Malik and
star cricketer Shahid Afridi.
The Trophy was picked up from Swarovski
office in an Uber Chopper that took off from the Atlantis Helipad, the Chopper
landed at the Me'aisem City Centre.
At the Me’aisem City Center, the Trophy
was received by captain of the reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi Daren Sammy
who was driven to the venue in an Uber Limousine, the captains of the five
other franchises Brendon McCullum (Lahore Qalandars), Shoaib Malik (Multan
Sultans), Misbahul Haq (Islamabad United), Imad Wasim (Karachi Kings) and
Sarfraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators) were also present in the Limousine.
The ceremony was only for six captains
and franchisee management but chairman PCB and PSL Najam Sethi invite Afridi as
the T20 star of the world on stage to join the captains.
Chairman PCB Mr. Najam Sethi thanked
all stakeholders for making the tournament a reality for the third year in the
running.
“I am grateful to all stakeholders,
sponsors, franchises and the players for their outstanding support and
contribution in making the HBL PSL prosper, I wish all captains the very best
and I hope that we some exciting cricket over the course of the next one month
both in the UAE and the last leg in Pakistan.”
The
PSL opening ceremony will be held on 22nd at Dubai Cricket Stadium
and after the ceremony opening match will be played between defending champion
Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans.
