PCB issued NOC to all central contracted players with must play National T20 condition which will also heald between the leagues schedule.

" National T20 Cup is being held from November 7 to 23, 2017 in Multan and Faisalabad. This tournament has been rescheduled due to the World XI tour to Pakistan. BPL and Global T20 League in South Africa are also scheduled in the same period by the respective cricket boards / organizers. Some Pakistani players have been contracted to play in the above two T20 leagues as well" said in official release


"PCB has decided that all the centrally contracted players, who are not facing any other restriction must also participate in PCB’s T20 tournament to strengthen our domestic cricket, as per international best practices" spokesman of PCB.


"In order to facilitate our players and also keeping in view good relationship with Bangladesh and South Africa cricket boards, NOCs would be issued to all centrally contracted players to play BPL and Global T20 leagues, subject to the condition that they must play PCB’s T20 tournament from November 7 to 17, 2017" the condition imposed on all contracted players.


However, retired players like Shahid Afridi, Misbahul Haq, Younis Khan besides players like Mohammad Sami and Sohail Tanvir, who are not centrally contracted, will  be given NOCs from the start.

In the boom of international Cricket PCB decided to change the entire women wing with immediate effect. PCB Removed Sana Mir, Team Manager Aysha Ashar and Disbanded Selection Committee with immediate effect.

PCB called all process as the changes in the Women Structure and announce to appoint GM Women Cricket in Coming Days to run the affairs.

PCB officially stances as

"Following a review of the current women cricket structure after a dismal performance of the team in the recently concluded World Cup, the PCB has reviewed the relevant reports of Coach, Captain, Chief Selector and Manager and has interviewed the Manager, Captain and GM Women Cricket".

(i)         Change in the leadership of women wing. Search for a new GM Women Cricket will be started through an ad in the newspaper.

(ii)        Change in Team Manager. A new Team Manager will be appointed in due course meanwhile Ms. Ayesha Ashhar is being given an interim charge of women wing till such time an appointment of GM Women Cricket is made.

(iii)       Sana Mir has been replaced as Captain of Pakistan women team in 50 over format but she will be eligible for selection as a player in both formats of the game.

(iv)       Bismah Maroof has been given captaincy for One Day format of the game in addition to her current position as Captain of T20 format.

(v)        The Selection Committee has been disbanded and process of appointing new members of the Selection Committee will be started soon.

Chairman PCB Mr. Najam Sethi stated, “These are well thought out decisions taken after a comprehensive internal review. I am hopeful that we will transform women cricket into a well-knit unit both on field and at the management level. Sana Mir has great contributions towards Pakistan's Women cricket. She has played an instrumental role for women's cricket in Pakistan. She has led the team with great respect and had always used her best abilities to serve women's team.”

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has introduced a number of changes to its playing conditions which will be effective in all series starting 28 September or later.

The significant changes include a restriction on the dimensions of the bat, the introduction of player send-offs for misconduct and changes to the Decision Review System, all of which will commence from the two upcoming Test series – when South Africa hosts Bangladesh and the one between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates.

The ICC playing conditions will now incorporate the relevant clauses from the MCC Laws of Cricket (2017 Code), meaning that all the playing regulations will be captured in one document for each format.

ICC General Manager – Cricket, Geoff Allardice: “Most of the changes to the ICC playing conditions are being made as a result of changes to the Laws of Cricket that have been announced by the MCC. We have just completed a workshop with the umpires to ensure they understand all of the changes and we are now ready to introduce the new playing conditions to international matches.”

 To maintain the balance between bat and ball, the playing conditions now restrict the size of the edges of the bats as well as their thickness.

 The restriction on the length and width of bats remain unchanged but the thickness of the edges can’t be more than 40mm and the overall depth can be 67 mm at the most. Umpires will be issued with a new bat gauge, which they can use to check a bat’s legality.

In a new playing condition pertaining to players’ conduct, a player can now be sent off the field for the rest of the match for any serious misconduct, meaning it will apply to Level 4 offences while the Level 1 to 3 offences will continue to be dealt with under the ICC Code of Conduct.

Threatening to assault an umpire, making inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with an umpire, physically assaulting a player or any other person and committing any other act of violence all constitute Level 4 offences.

The above changes will be applicable across all formats, as will be a change in the DRS rules by which a review will now not be lost in case of a decision that remains unchanged, solely as the result of an ‘umpire’s call’.

As for DRS in Test matches, there will be no more top-up reviews after 80 overs of an innings, meaning that there can only be two unsuccessful reviews in each innings, while the DRS will now also be allowed to be used in T20Is.

Pakistan Cricket board that is controlling the cricketers and cricketing activities as an independent autonomous body , now decide to control the financial matters of the cricketers like FIA (Federal Investigation Agency. A source from PCB anti corruption and vigilance department said “We are working on Spot fixing and as pre caution we need to check all details of Assets players and their relevant to meet the investigative requirements”.

“ It’s not an issue of respect and discrimination but purely on central contract clause base because PCB has right to collect all the information of Players income from PCB, ICC and other major leagues to monitor all the activities” an official working on high profile seat in PCB said.

“The present situation of the players income sources not transparent because of number of foreign leagues and marketing contracts outside the country  and Vigilance cell also want to put all this in his radar especially after the spot Fixing incidents in PSL as precautionary measure of resent Spot Fixing issues” Officer exclaimed with solidarity.

PCB in this regard sent reminders to all the central contracted players to submit all the relevant information in due course.

PCB tribunal declared Khalid Latif spot fixer in his decision and banned him for five years plus one million rupees fined. The Tribunal announced his short decision on Wednesday at National Cricket Academy Lahore. The Tribunal heading by Justice (R) Asgahr Haider in his short decision said all six charges generate by PCB about spot fixing proved true and therefore Tribunal banned him for 5 years and one million rupees fined payable to PCB.

Azadi Cup three T20 matches series will start from 12^th of September and for that the training progression will be from 7^th September at NCA. Pakistan Pacer Muhammad Amir is not attending the Training camp because of his upcoming baby. He is in England with his wife and as per his discussion with Current Line baby is expected in next 24 hours and after the delivery he will plan to travel Pakistan for matches against World XI.

Roman Raees bowling all rounder also will also on three days leave from the camp because of his marriage and will attend on 9^th September. The spinner formulated bowler Shadab Khan is busy in CPL and will join the camp after two days.

Pakistan Team will play three matches against World XI on 12^th , 13^th and 15^th of September at Gadaffi Stadium Lahore.

PSL spot fixing is now on decision row and as per decision of Tribunal on Sharjeel Khan, he has found Guilty in all five charges. Tribunal banned him for 5 years from the Cricket with the 30 months suspension.  Sharjeel not allowed to play any form of cricket for the 2.5 years period and should be under monitoring of Vigilance section of PCB intelligence. Sharjeel Lawyer reacted on decision and said we will appeal for this because it’s against the incident and punishment period is more than the case clauses, on the other hand PCB lawyer also thinking to appeal for more punishment as well as fine on Sharjeel Khan
