Najam Sethi elected unopposed Chairman PCB

Target is restoration of International Cricket.

World XI and SL in consultation for tour to Pakistan this year, Najam Sethi

Najam Sethi dissolved all committees and will exercise all powers to run PCB, PSL

Pakistan Cricket board’s newly farmed Governing Board elect unanimously in the first meeting at NCA.

After taking Chairman Office Najam Sethi showed deep concern for the restoration of International Cricket in the country and hoped for hosting of international teams in next 90 days.
“I am going to Sri Lanka after 25 hours for the ACC meeting in Colombo and during that will discuss S.L tour to Pakistan after the upcoming home series and on the other hand Punjab Government gave us positive response for World XI tour, the tour will proceed after the new dates finalized for which ICC is in communication” Sethi Answered a question regarding his working priorities.
Najam Sethi Disclosed that World XI tour should be managed with mutual share by PCB and ICC.
“I will not give you the exact figure for it but assure you ICC also contribute in shape of Grant to meet the World XI tour to Pakistan” said Najam Sethi
Pakistan Fight with India for the bilateral series should continue on both the levels diplomatically and legally.
“the Bilateral series issue is now in Dispute resolution committee of ICC and we will do our best efforts to prove our stance and beside it we also will negotiate to BCCI on all levels as we know it’s the tightness in the relations of both countries as BCCI fully dependent on their Government” Sethi lamented.
Najam Sethi will go beyond his limits to meet his services for PCB, BOG and PSL and exercise unlimited powers.
“I am dissolving all the committees which was formed by previous chairman shaharyar khan and I will form new committees in coming week but this time no Executive committee as I can handle PCB affairs as well as PSL excellently” Najam Sethi announced during press conference.

Najam Sethi also wants to run Pakistan domestic Cricket on professional basis with huge financial participation of corporate.
