Pakistani leg spinner Yasir shah who was suspended by the ICC due to his positive dope test taken on 13th November in UAE during PAk Eng Cricket series.

Yasir shah who was talikng medicine to release the drugs through urine was suggested by the Medicine head of PCB Dr Sohail, Sources revealed to the Current Line with the consent promise to hiding his name.

"it is the sole responsibility of Dr, Sohail as head of medicine department PCB which he did not fulfill as per description and over looked the matter while mr Branson the Team Physio asked them to take care but Dr, Sohail were not bothering  ".

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced that Pakistan’s bowler Yasir Shah has been charged with an anti-doping rule violation under the ICC Anti-Doping Code.

 

The sample Yasir provided in an in-competition test, which was conducted on 13 November 2015, was found to contain the presence of chlortalidone, a Prohibited Substance which appears in Section 5 of the WADA Prohibited List (in the category of Specified Substances).  In accordance with the ICC Anti-Doping Code, pending the outcome of the disciplinary process, Yasir has been provisionally suspended.

 

The matter will now be dealt with in accordance with the process set down in the Code, and until such time as the process is resolved, the ICC will make no further comment on this matter.

Hafeez May Retire from International Cricket on Muhammad Amir's Dispute.

Hafeez is much strict with his stance about the sell of Pakistan's Pride.

Hafeez had played 173 matches and scored 5238 with average of 32 and 140 not out is career best while his debut was against Zimbabwe at Sharjah in April 2003.
Hafeez who was at the top of in the ICCT20 all rounder ranking also captained the Green Team and step down from captaincy after ICC  World T20 2014.

He played 68 T20 internationals and scored 1432 runs with 22.73 average and his best was 84.

PCB is organizing a Fitness Training Camp for players from December 21 to January 7, 2016 at Gaddaffi Stadium, Lahore.

The main objective of the camp is to improve the overall physical fitness of all players and to enhance the technical aspect of each player’s game and to prepare them for the upcoming international events.

Mr. Shaharyar M. Khan, Chairman PCB has approved the names of 26 players picked up by the PCB National Selection Committee for the fitness camp.

The players who are engaged in the QAT Super 08 Round have been granted permission to play their domestic matches scheduled between December 20–23,2015. These players will join the training camp not later than 24^th Dec.

PSL at last become in real page of working format as five teams franchise was sold by the PCB to the four national and one international owner of different organizations. According to Pakistan Super league governing council head Najam sethi who shared the information with media in a press conference at Gadafi Stadium.

"We have sold all five teams to the five different organizations for the 10 years but initially the rights holders are bound to follow present contract for three years that will extend for the further period with the mutual understanding".

Franchise rights have been sold for USD 93 million for the ten years in which Karachi was the biggest value team with 2.6 million dollars purchased by the leading media group (ARY) head Salman Iqbal while Lahore was franchised to the Qatar Oil owned by the Pakistani and a Qatar national on the cost of 2.4 million dollars. Islamabad team rights were sold to the Capital Leonine Global Sports with the 1.5 million dollars, Peshawar franchised in 1.6 million dollars to the big home appliances firm Haier group Pakistan while Quetta franchised to the Omer Associates on the cost of 1.2 million dollars.

In another successful development, one of Pakistan’s oldest and biggest banks, Habib Bank Limited has joined the Pakistan Super League as title sponsor for the first three years of the league. As a result of this partnership, the league will now officially be known as the HBL Pakistan Super League.

At this beginning of PSL journey Sethi said “I am delighted with these positive developments and this is a major achievement in our PSL journey.

The best part is that all team owners are ardent cricket fans and their dedication will make this league a success. 

HBL’s association with Pakistan Super League is another indication of established brands partnering with the league,” said Mr. Najam Sethi, Chairman PSL Governing Council.

Having reserved production rights to ensure international standard coverage, HBL PSL’s broadcast arrangements have also been finalized for the next three years. The coverage will be produced by world leaders Sunset+Vine. Matches will be aired in Pakistan on Ten Sports and PTV Sports. Global TV rights for the same duration have been sold to Tech Front, a UAE-based media rights acquisition company.

Najam Sethi also shared that The sale of all commercial rights – broadcast, franchise, and sponsorship - is perfectly in line with the league’s budgetary estimates. The coach selection process for all five teams will take place in the next 10 days and the player draft event will take place by the end of December.

The first edition of the HBL PSL will take place from 4-23 February, 2016 with matches taking place in Dubai and Sharjah.

its not possible for me to take part in the ICC CT 2017 or ICC WC 2019 because i am already old enough so its better, you should vacant the space for those who are junior rather than it occupied for more a year, Cool Misbah said.

Misbah is positive to take England in 2016 as his career last series but want to make him self fit and suitable that's why regularly taking part in Domestic and in BPL (Bangladesh Premier League).

"I know i am old man and need maximum practice to fit my self for more a year and therefore i am regularly playing domestic Cricket and also going to take part in BPL" while he was answering a question related to his retirement in season 2016 in England.

Chairman PCB Shahar yar khan appointed Pakistan test skipper Mibah and senior batsman Younis khan as his advisers in BoG Cricketing representative.

Pakistani Skipper Misbah ul Haq said he will do his best effort to make modernization as part of the structure in PCB Cricket, he was talking to the media at Gaddafi Stadium first time after took his charge as member BoG.

Earlier The 38^h PCB Board of Governors meeting was held at the National Cricket Academy with Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan presiding over the meeting.

The Board of Governors reiterated its stance with regard to the Pakistan-India series , should take place as per the MoU signed between the two cricket boards.

“The BCCI must honor its commitment and play the series in the UAE,” said Chairman PCB, Shaharyar M. Khan.

“There is no justification behind asking Pakistan to play the series in India and there is no security issue involved if the two teams play in the UAE,” he added.

Speaking about Pakistan’s participation at the ICC World T20 scheduled to take place in India early next year, Mr. Shaharyar M. Khan stated: “Keeping in mind the security situation, we will have to seek necessary approvals from the Pakistan government for the World T20.”

It was decided at the meeting that Pakistan Test captain Mr. Misbah ul Haq and middle-order batsman Mr. Younis Khan will serve as advisors to Chairman PCB on cricket affairs. As and when required, the two advisors may also be invited to BoG meetings in order to solicit their expert opinion.

Mr. Zafar Mehmood, Chairman Coordination Committee for PCB Strategic Plan
apprised the members about work done in order to finalize the implementation details of the plan. Heads of respective sub-committees of the Coordination Committee will submit final plans within one month.

In a bid to support women’s cricket in Pakistan, the Board of Governors has decided to approve, support, and encourage women’s teams from various institutions.

A committee, to be headed by Major Naeem Akhtar Gillani, was formed in order to advise on game development. Mr. Shakil Shaikh, Mr. Gul Zada, Director Game Development Mr. Aizad Syed and General Manager Women’s Wing Shamsa Hashmi will be members of this committee.

Haroon Rasheed the chief selector is hopeful for clearing of Bilal Asif action's test and said he is feeling confident while talking to Current Line at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
"I think Bilal Asif's action problem is not like Saeed Ajmal so if we have to do work on his action that should be little and he will be clear the action in first attempt" he said.
30 years Bilal Asif were reported after the 3rd ODI and was allowed to ball in any international match before his official test with ICC.

Greece team in sialkoat to play 5 matches with the local team and there members arrived last night.

PCB said we were asked about this tour but we were not sure about the status and we clearly told everything to the Greece Cricket Association therefore we are not responsible for any of the issue related to this.

LAHORE–October 7, 2015: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has been given to understand that national cricket team of Greece has arrived in Pakistan for a few friendly games. This is an unofficial and private tour and PCB is no way involved with it.

 

PCB’s support was sought for the tour, but with the relevant government clearances promised by the team not forthcoming, the Board had declined to support the tour. This was informed to the Greece cricket authorities well in advance of the team embarking on its journey to Pakistan.

 

The PCB therefore does not take any responsibility of any arrangements, including security, accommodation, transportation, availability of venues, opposition teams etc., with regard to this unofficial tour.
