PSL 3rd edition has started
with the anthem of the soil and after that the big countdown of Music
combination of Folk, Jazz and Sufism. Top star and ambassador of the Sufi Music
Abida Parween mysterious performance stunned the audience in the stadium and
outside the stadium (While the ceremony was broadcasting all over the world).
The
production monitoring sources said that the ceremony was seen across the world
around more than half billion peoples. The most important thing in the ceremony
was trophy hand over through string carry movements after the Abida Parween
performance.
The
Stadium was jam packed in the opening ceremony and a picture of kid enjoying
left hand batting style in the stadium virile now.

The brilliant vocalist and folk star of
the Pakistan who is famous all over the world due to his unique attribute of
singing “Sufi Music” Abida Parween shared her views about PSL and profound
about Multan Sultanz and said this team belongs to the land of Saints.
“PSL is an excellent effort, all teams
are well and my wishes with them but my happiness definitely for Multan Sultanz
because they belongs to the land of Saints” Abida said in his unique style
during the press conference at Dubai Cricket stadium with other showbiz stars.

spokes man said while giving information about the opening ceremony that
“The ceremony is a wonderful reflection
of Pakistan’s culture and heritage beautifully amalgamated with modernity, an
internationally acclaimed artist like Jason Derulo will perform this year
following in the footsteps of Sean Paul and Shaggy who made their mark at the
first two editions of the HBL PSL”.
In the opening ceremony along with
Abida Parween two young and upcoming movie stars who have already made an
impression at the Pakistani showbiz scene Hareem Farooq and Bilal Ashraf will
also perform and they briefed the media about their thoughts about PSL.
Speaking at the occasion the Chairman
of Pakistan Cricket Board Mr. Najam Sethi thanked the artists for taking part
in the HBL PSL opening ceremony festivities, the chairman added that the
participating performers will make the event a truly memorable one.
“The HBL PSL opening ceremonies in the
first two seasons have set a very high benchmark and have raised the bar for
sporting leagues around the world. Keeping with the tradition the season three
opening ceremony should dazzle the audiences at the stadium and the millions
watching on their TV screens and through our LIVE stream around the world.”

The
ceremony starts at 7pm UAE time, the ceremony would be followed by the first
match of the tournament between defending champions Peshawar Zalmi and
newcomers Multan Sultans, the match will start at 9:00 pm

Pakistan Super league event of the year
presenting by Pakistan Cricket board for third season will start on 22nd
of Feburary in eye catching jaw breaking opening ceremony at Dubai Cricket
stadium but before this the PSL Trophy 2018 unveiling ceremony also thrilled
through the air ways of Helicopter. The trophy borough into the stadium in the helicopter
and all the 6 captains enjoyed the ride and opening ceremony with enthusiastic
cross words of defending champion Darren Sami, Imad Waseem, Shoeb Malik and
star cricketer Shahid Afridi.
The Trophy was picked up from Swarovski
office in an Uber Chopper that took off from the Atlantis Helipad, the Chopper
landed at the Me'aisem City Centre.
At the Me’aisem City Center, the Trophy
was received by captain of the reigning champions Peshawar Zalmi Daren Sammy
who was driven to the venue in an Uber Limousine, the captains of the five
other franchises Brendon McCullum (Lahore Qalandars), Shoaib Malik (Multan
Sultans), Misbahul Haq (Islamabad United), Imad Wasim (Karachi Kings) and
Sarfraz Ahmed (Quetta Gladiators) were also present in the Limousine.
The ceremony was only for six captains
and franchisee management but chairman PCB and PSL Najam Sethi invite Afridi as
the T20 star of the world on stage to join the captains.
Chairman PCB Mr. Najam Sethi thanked
all stakeholders for making the tournament a reality for the third year in the
running.
“I am grateful to all stakeholders,
sponsors, franchises and the players for their outstanding support and
contribution in making the HBL PSL prosper, I wish all captains the very best
and I hope that we some exciting cricket over the course of the next one month
both in the UAE and the last leg in Pakistan.”
The
PSL opening ceremony will be held on 22nd at Dubai Cricket Stadium
and after the ceremony opening match will be played between defending champion
Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans.
PCB has option to host matches in UAE and Pakistan
ICC looking for Tax wave off for the tournament which denied by India Government

PCB had putted new card against the BCCI
in ICC boards meeting in Dubai in last week: offer to host ICC Champions Trophy
2021 with all of its resources.
The Host offer offered by Chairman Najam
sethi during the board’s meeting from 9th to 11th February in Dubai in response
of the ICC problem who is looking for Tax evasion which was denied by the
Indian government. ICC Director Dave Richardson has exclusively meet with the
Indian minister six months back but it was not positive for the ICC and after
that meeting ICC is seriously looking for the venue within the continent.
Well learned sources in the PCB have
confirmed that it is an option and there is no issue for us to Host ICC mega
event.
"We have no
problem to Host ICC Event even in UAE and Pakistan jointly, We know we are
still in trouble in hosting but the situation is going batter gradually, and we
are managing all of our series in UAE almost from a decade so we can do this as
well in both the countries" Senior Officer revealed.
ICC 2021 Champions Trophy and ICC WC2023
was awarded to BCCI (India) earlier but now due to Tax evasion issue ICC is thinking
to change the venue

FIFA World Cup Trophy 2018 who has started his tour from
Sri Lanka on 23rd January has reached Lahore with zeal to flourish
football on the soil of Hockey and Cricket Champions. FIFA banned last year
Pakistan Football federation because of Government interference and took over
the control of FIFA House Lahore but the FIFA officials who were committed to
bring the trophy in Pakistan full fill their plan with the Sponsor of the
Trophy.

PCB who was in shock of fixing scandal in 2010 with trio
Salman butt, Asif and Amir is now again can be in trouble because of Ajman all
stars Cricket League which was played from 23rd to 25th
January. Pakistan Ex skipper and convicted in spot fixing Salman Butt confirmed
his participation in two matches in the league.
“I played only two matches and shocked about the
administration and poor management, therefore came back and not completed”,
Butt said on a question about league.
“I am in full cooperation with the ICC and will answer
all quires with best of my knowledge” Salman replied on question of ongoing
investigations.
“All members whose players have participated will be
asked to consider whether by doing so,
those players are in breach on any other applicable rules, including those that
prohibit participation in unsanctioned cricket, if so for disciplinary action
to be taken against them” ICC strongly reacted after investigations.
“After speaking to a number of those involved, we
consider there to be stron evidence to indicate this was a corrupt event and
damaging to the wider reputation of cricket and as such will continue the
investigation” Alex Marshal head of ACU ICC on the Ajman all stars event
investigations.
There is reports that Pakistan Three cricketers Khalil,
Hasan Raza and Salman Butt participated in the event.
