The comparison scenario after warm up games

Virat look like have Edge over Sarfaraz but not in temperament.

MS Dhoni is Kohli’s back bone of team while Malik and Hafeez same for Pak Captain

By Adrees Malik

The biggest ever clash of 2017 will be available to see for the world of cricket fans at edgbaston on 4th of June in England in the first big clash of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 which will staged from 1st June.

Both teams played warm up match against Bangal Tigers and won the games but interestingly their batting pattern was different. Pakistan chased on the loss of eight wickets the big target of 342 with 3 balls remaining.

It was test case for both Sarfaraz Ahmad and head coach Mickey Arthur because the green team as per his past records were never easy in chase. The thriller was made by young bot Faheem Ashraf with strike rate of 213 and made 64 quick runs on just 30 balls with the help of four boundaries and four sixes.

On the other hand India who is famous in his batting has batted first and set the huge target of 324 and won the match by 240 runs.

The moves from the captains of the arch rivals in warm up games to test their week parts like defending bowling of India and chasing batting of Pakistan and the managed themselves in better halves.

Pakistan and India in head to head stats clearly showing edge of Green team over India as well as in ICC Champions Trophy. Both the team faced each other in 127 ODI’s and 72 times Pakistan won while India made only 51 matches rest four matches was undecided, similarly in ICC champions Trophy Pakistan won two matches and lost only one against India.

Sarfaraz Ahmad’s team and for himself! ICC champions Trophy is a big challenge and to meet his future qualities he need a big success in ICC champions Trophy which will in shape against India can strength his captaincy.

When we go to compare both the captains and their strength in the team than it’s the clear reflector that Kohli has good and brilliant minds in his team as compared to Sarfaraz.
Sarfaraz Ahmad who is very optimistic and said in pre-tournament interview that “We will play India’s match as normal opponent” but it’s not look easy for him in the presence of MS Dhoni which will be the trump card for Virat, while Youvraj Singh most fantastic hitter in late order he has with MS.

On the other hand Sarfraz have Muhammad Hafeez and Shoeb Malik as calculating machines for him to work if they done so in the ground with their tricks.

The brain of Hafeez and his only two overs can help Pakistan Captain for getting two quick wickets and to put pressure on rival India, and Shoeb Malik’s slogging from mid-on and mid-off will help green team to itemize the score board in five overs time.

Now this game would be the best game for the cricket lovers as well because india has time to level their match ratio (2-2) with Pakistan while Pakistan has time to increase his margin in ICC CT’s from 2 to 3.

Acrh Rival Captains have faith to put in themselves better than opponent.

Acrh Rival Captains have faith to put in themselves better than opponent.

We have no pressure and will gift the Victory for Eid Celebrations. Sarfraz Ahmad

We are better side than 2013, I want to flourish as captain in my first big tournament, Virat Kohli

Current Line (Birmingham)

Pakistan Cricket team who is not in a good position in ICC Ranking (8th) but the captain Sarfaraz Ahmad who captained the team in first major event is confident of making nothing to lost in ICC Champions trophy.

“We have nothing to lose, we just want to play our natural game,” he said at his pre-tournament press conference. “We have just played a very good series in the West Indies, where the players performed very well.

“We are very hopeful of playing well in this tournament and we want to win it. It is a very exciting time for us, there have been a lot of practice sessions at Edgbaston and we’re ready to play.

“Against the West Indies, we had a big fielding improvement, there were one or two dropped catches but it was an improvement so we are happy with that.

“We don’t see us as having a surprise element, we want to come here and play free cricket, starting against India. We are taking matches one by one and the Pakistan team is hopeful of building some confidence starting in the warm-up matches.”

For the biggest clash with arch rival in opening match on 4th at Edgebaston Sarfraz much aware about his team past records in 50 over games ICC Tournaments.

“We have a better record against India in the Champions Trophy, not in other competitions, but we do well in this. We’re looking to maintain that against them and it’s very exciting."

The 30-year-old was in the middle as the winning runs were hit in the final match, and with confidence high that Pakistan can flourish in the ICC Champions Trophy, he isn’t feeling the pressure of leading his country.

Sarfraz continued: “This is my first major tournament as captain, I’m definitely very hopeful and excited about the competition.

“My aim is to play my own game, to not play under pressure and to just play as I do in domestic cricket.
On the Other hand the Indian captain Verat Kohli also has a complete plan in his mind to defend the title and felt his team is better than 2013.

The 28-year-old Kohli is expecting great things from his side.

“I am very excited to be playing as captain in my first major ICC competition,” he said. “As far as the team goes, we won last time because our fast bowlers did very well, our spinners were strong and our opening batsman did well.

“They were the main three factors. This year the team is a lot fitter, the cricketers are a lot more mature because that was a very young group four years ago. It has gained a lot of experience in the last three or four years. I love the tournament because it represents a challenge from the (word) go.

“In the ICC Cricket Wold Cup you have a league and a lot of games to play but here it is group games and then either the semis or you are out.”

After a couple of warm-up matches against New Zealand and Bangladesh, India opens its campaign against neighbour Pakistan at Edgbaston in one of the most eagerly anticipated matches of the group stage.

Following that, India will tackle Sri Lanka and South Africa at the Kia Oval.

“For me it is a game of cricket. From then to now, I have shown I am strong mentally. England brings a lot for challenges for a batsmen and I want to overcome them personally for my satisfaction at the end of my career.

“From that point of view, it is exciting for me.”

Kohli may be the star of the team these days, but Yuvraj and Dhoni still play a major role. And Kohli expects former captain Dhoni to flourish in this tournament.

“We needed to strengthen our lower middle order contribution. Too much burden was on MS,” he said.
“He was not able to express himself. But now we are balanced, we have good fast bowlers, depth in batting and the series against England [In January] sealed it for us.

”We are in a good head-space going into this tournament.”

#MisYou no more on the Cricketing Sky as they gone sky-high

Misbah create history in the Cricket world

#MisYou no more on the Cricketing Sky as they gone sky-high

Mr 99 and the Dancing boy of the pitch no more in the ground

By Adrees Malik

When any historian try to write the book on test cricket he will right at least one chapter on Misbah in his fist five chapters because of his best stats in the test cricket.

The most aged captain of Test Cricket who played last match as captain on 42 years and 352nd day of his life journey, yes Misbah ul Haq is now the luckiest captain of the Pakistan Cricket team after getting first test series victory in Caribbean which was never gained by any other not only this, he is also know the most successful Asian Test Team captain who won the 11 series. The uniqueness for Misbah also that he never played in Pakistan as Captain but won the title of “ICC Spirit Cricket Award” and “ICC no1 team award” in 2016.

“I played a lot of Cricket as we Shared 15000 test runs and i found Younis khan the best mate of mine in the Ground, I am humble that my name is with Younis khan in history books” these were the closing remarks from the most successful captain of the test world in the ground as his last appearance.

Misbah lu Haq who debuted against New Zealand in march 2001 has played 75 test and out of these most was as captain and 90 percent out of the homeland but the victory ratio is at highest than anyone else in the Test world cricket.

He made 5222 runs with 161* as his best but unique record of is most 99’s in his test cricket in which he made 10 centuries and 39 fifties.

Misbah who known in the cricket world as Mr.TOOK TOOK instead of his famous title he equal’s the record of fastest test century in UAE.

Pakistan Cricket team historic tour to West Indies ended with high node of victories in all three formats of the cricket. But the most brilliant match in the history was the last test match played at Windsor park Dominica which was ended just 6 balls before the end of the game.

Pakistan is in West Indies first time in 1958, this was the best journey for the cricket world as in that series Sir Garry Sobers 365* and the Great Hanif Muhammad’s 335 and almost after 60 years “the success” blessed the Green Team.

The pride for the Pakistan will no more in the Grounds

Pakistan won the series after 60 years of cricket in West Indies

The pride for the Pakistan will no more in the Grounds

Current Line (Windsor Park)

Pakistan won the nail biting test match of the history at Windsor Park Dominica by 101 runs. The match made by number of players but the Yasir shah who declared the man of the series with 25 wickets in four test matches has grabbed the victorious wicket just 6 balls before the end of the test cricket drama ad Dominica.
RL Chase who played best cricket and impress the world with his bat felt depressed as he did not saved his team from defeat. Pakistan who played three test matches in the series have won two out of three and the series by 2-1. This is the first series Pakistan has made in the test history which was started in 1958.

The first series was histoprical as in that series  Sir Garry Sobers and the great Hanif Muhammad played 300 innings, those were 365* and 335 respectively.

Misbah don't lose temperament, NORMAL CRICKET is over now

Misbah on the Edge of retirement don't loose temperament
Normal Cricket is Over now.

WI defeat and keep track record at Barbados

By Adrees Malik

Pakistan Test Cricket team captain Misbah Ul Haq is well known because of his coolness and temperament in all over the cricket world but in the 2nd test match of the current Pakistan tour to west indies he lost his temperament.
Its look ridiculous that i am going to comment on Misbah's temperament rather than poor cricket of Pakistan team. In my opinion Misbah has to stay on the crease in first inning one more session to make match a historical one of his career but he lost the temperament and lost the match.
Captain of Green team has to make changes in his bowling excellently which was failed and made West indies to build a good total in their 1st inning 312 after losing five wickets on 107 and also in 2nd inning which was 268 bit more than the expectations of Cricket pundits.
Definitely the credit goes to Hope and Chase who made their innings respectively better one than Opponent Pakistan.
Calm captain in his conclusive remarks said all credit goes to West Indian players who played very well but he dint said that he and his mates played poor cricket and cover himself with words "we play normal cricket and it was conveyed to ever one" while talking to Ramiz Raja in closing ceremony.
The captain who has 5000 plus runs, the best winning ratio in test cricket of Pakistan used unrealtistic approach of  "Normal Cricket".
A captain who has not vision of victory even in the match who can be easily made with better probability in 60 years test cricket history has no right to go more definitely no way for NORMAL Cricket now and you should retire but i give you grace marks to be retire with winning note in last test to save your records.

Fortune Misbha ul Haq playing with unfortunate, Victory in first test and pathway for second is historical for mighty man

Fortune Misbha ul Haq playing with unfortunate

Victory in first test  and pathway for second is historical for mighty man

99 is more than nervios figure for Captain

Azhar Ali and Misbah built the lead of 81 in first inning

By Adrees Malik

Pakistan Cricket team have fortunate captain Misbah Ul Haq who become the first man in the history of test cricket with best winning ratio but himself is not much fortunate and most of the time fought with nervios ninties.

The cricket experts consider him as nervios ninties but he proved more than that in his Kinsigton oval day three game. Azhar Ali and Ahmad shahzad’s strong opening stand and after that brilliant inning of 99 runs by the mighty man headed pakistan 81 runs over west indies first innig.
Misbah also put the record of most 90’s in his career which he can not convert into centuries and found the path of pavillion.

West Indies who set 312 with the barefooted RL Chase’s 131 and Jesson Holders 58 even after losing 6 on 154, Pakistan couldnot manage wicket tacking scenario and at last after adition of 132 runs got Holder and soon after also his partner.
