Pakistan Super league 2nd time launched for the first edition and this time in Qatar in Feb 2016,

5 teams will play 24 matches in 14 days in Doha Qatar from 4 to 24th February 2016. PCB announced

we have written consent from 45 world players out of these 15 are Diamond/Platinum, Najam Sethi

Paksitan Cricket board announced to launch its first professional T20 league to be held in Doha, capital city of Qatar.

Point to ponder that Pakistan Super league's  first edition launched by the PCB 2nd time to be held in Qatar from 4 to 24th February in Qatar, announced by the PCB executive committee chairman Najam Sethi in a press briefing at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

Earlier it was launched in 2013 by the Ex chairman Zaka Ashraf with the consultation of Ex ICC executive Mr. Haroon Lorgat but that was closed by saying that its the General election year in the country and its not possible to conduct PSL.

Najam Sethi said we were interested to organize PSL in UAE but due to unavailability of the vanues we have to move forward and this is fortunate for us that Qatar Olympics association is very much positive to do arrangements for the first edition of Pakistan's first T20 league edition.

Najam Sethi said it was an honour for him and his mates to make this edition a proud for Pakistan's Cricket as we need to do it for our young players.

The capital of the PSL will be around 100 million dollars where as each team will need invest of 10 million dollars to own the franchise of each team.

The each diamond player should be sold around lac dollar at least and at most.

"Najam Sethi said we are going to start a big revenue activity in which each buyer have to invest 10 million dollars to buy a team and one lac dollar for each diamond player auction money and we will release the details later in this month" while he was answering a question of Current line Correspondent during the briefing.

PSL also will open the horizons for cricket and other countries to introduce cricket in the Gulf market along with the UAE.

Qatar who will also host the IAA athletics championship and FIFA world cup, hopefully the Qatar Olympics Association also preparing them self to bid for Olympics.

PSL will be consist of 24 matches between 5 teams during 14 playing days and the National T20 league teams Lahore, Karachi , Peshawar, Queta and Islamabad are the sole names of the teams.

Pakistan and India can decide play or not by their own, ICC can't do any thing related to this 

The ICC President Zaheer abbas said instead of Zimbabwe toured Pakistan all the international teams will visit Pakistan when the circumstances support them in easy mindset. He said that its not possible for ICC to manoeuvre the bilateral series while he was commenting on ICC role to make possible bilateral series between Pakistan and India in December 2015. "if it is the case than why Pakistan leave West indies aside from the planned series therefore we cannot do any thing to make it possible as per set rules".

Zaheer Abbas said all those who say big three are strong they keep in their mind its matter of strength if more boards unite and support each other than these three than their should be different picture in future.

The present ICC decision of ban lifting on two Pakistani players who were banned by ICC because of Spot fixing and will allow to play all type of international Cricket he said this is the purely on PCB disposal to allow them or not.


"The ICC has allowed them for all type of Crickets internationally therefore its pure subject matter of PCB that they are allowing them to play cricket or not" he was answering the question "can ICC force PCB to include in national or international Cricket".


Zaheer Abbas who was took charge in july 2015 said i had attended only two meetings of the PCB and could not say any thing about the committee who was working to do efforts for international Cricket back in Pakistan in the chairman ship of Giles Clarck.

Lahore region put Salman butt name in Lahore Blue for the national T20 league but PCB rejected because of incomplete Anti corruption procedure.

Pakistani Ex captain and ICC tainted in spot fixing Salman butt start his practice at his Cricket birth camp in Lahore. Salman was confident to be part of domestic cricket on the basis of his performance and he has no mental pressure about behavioral conduct of his mate during 2nd life of cricket.
"I am feeling better no doubt every body have psychological pressure due to tough time like my spot fixing issue but i am thankfull to Allah who has given me power to handle all these issues with strenth and confidence and i think i will be ok with all of my Critics and well wishers for my future" he said in reply of question about his physiological condition.

on the other hand Muhammad Asif who was an excellent with new ball and famous for his natural swing start start his practice also in Lahore.
Aisf said he is feeling the pace during ball and will try to focus on his swing strength with in days, where as the concern about the rehabilitation "I will complete it and follow all the rules and standards".

Lahore region include Salman butt's name in the Lahore white team which was not accepted by the PCB because of incomplete anti corruption procedure.
A source who is close to the regional president of Lahore also said we want to include Asif's name in 2nd team.

ICC Lift ban on Pakistani Spot Fixers

after lift 5 years ban form ICC on Spot fixing in 2010 at Lords London, the tented player Muhammad Asif showed his satisfaction through his gesture while sitting with his wife at his house in Lahore.
Asif who was alelged in spot fixing and banned for Five years feeling relaxed and want to prove himself eligible for the international Cricket by taking part in the Domestic Cricket.
"I will prove my self fit and capable for the international Cricket"  Asif said who was sitting in fresh mood with his wife at his home.
in reply to question how you will start your new career he said "no doubt there is lot of options available to take part in international cricket available but i will prefer to be part of Domestic Cricket in Pakistan and than pave my path for the National Team".
Muhammad Asif was also banned by the UAE government to enter in UAE because of banned drug carrier but he aside this ban by saying that was not related to cricket and i am allowed to play international Cricket in UAE and PCB also aware of this development.
" it is not difficult to play international cricket in UAE as Home ground of Pakistan Cricket because this is different matter and UAE government never banned me to play International Cricket at their soil" he talked about the ban in UAE to enter.

Muhammad Asif's wife who is also mother of 4 and half year Baby girl was rejoicing with joy and said we faced difficult time in our wed life because of Asif ban in international Cricket but i think now time to enjoy and i am thankful to all people who did efforts and support Asif.

ICC released the following statement about ban lift upon all of the three Pakistani spot Fixers.

   
The International Cricket Council today confirmed that the sanctions against Mohammad Asif and Salman Butt will expire at midnight on 1 September 2015 and that they will be eligible to return to competitive cricket, at both domestic and international levels, on 2 September 2015 after fulfilling the specific conditions laid down by the independent Anti-Corruption Tribunal.

Further, Mohammad Amir will be eligible to return to cricket at international level at the same time, following permission being granted to him to return to play domestic cricket in Pakistan earlier this year.

The three players were found guilty of various offences of corrupt behavior relating to the Lords Test between England and Pakistan in August 2010 by the independent Anti-Corruption Tribunal on 5 February 2011, with their sanctions backdated to commence on 2 September 2010 (the date on which they were initially charged and provisionally suspended).

The Tribunal, headed by Mr Michael Beloff, QC, following a six-day hearing in Qatar had imposed a sanction of five years on Amir, seven years on Asif (of which the final two years were suspended on specified conditions) and 10 years on Butt (of which the final five years were suspended on specified conditions).

As with all players and other participants in cricket, all three players remain bound to comply with the ICC Anti-Corruption Code and the anti-corruption rules of all National Cricket Federations.  Consequently, if they should commit any further act of corrupt conduct they are liable to (i) further separate disciplinary proceedings for breaches of the relevant Code or rules and (ii) in the case of Asif and Butt and where such breach occurs during the suspended part of their original period of ineligibility, the activation of that suspended period of ineligibility.

Chairman PCB Shaharyar khan said Sports should be without politics between Rival countries especially the cricket while talking to media after the 37th BOG meeting held at NCA Lahore.
" we are in favor of sports without politics and India should follow this formula for Pakistan and India series as per MOU" said chairman PCB.

"We are doing our best efforts for the restoration of international cricket in Pakistan and invited the associate member countries of ICC to play practice games at our soil before next year world T20 event scheduled in India" he answered in reply of the question.

according to PCB press release Chairman reject the KRCA request to review the new format of Domestic Cricket in Pakistan but we are ready to remove the objections in the system.

PCB released the following outcomes of the 37th BOG


The 37th PCB Board of Governors meeting was held here today at the National Cricket Academy with Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan presiding over the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Najam Sethi, Chairman Executive Committee, Mr. Zafar Mehmood, WAPDA, Mr. Shakeel Ahmed Sheikh, Chairman Cricket Committee, Mr. Gul Zada, Peshawar Region, Mr. Mansoor Masood Khan, UBL, Professor Ijaz Ahmed Faruqi, Karachi Region, Maj (R) Naeem Gillani, Rawalpindi Region, Mr. Amjad Latif, SNGPL, and Mr. Ijaz Chaudhry, Secretary IPC. Mr. Subhan Ahmad, COO, and Mr. Badar Manzoor Khan, CFO, were also present.

The meeting started with a minute’s silence in memory of the late Col (R) Shuja Khanzada.
Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan briefed the Board of Governors about developments at the ICC Annual Meeting. He informed the BoG about discussions held with heads of various cricket boards with regard to inviting more teams to play in Pakistan. “I am very hopeful that more teams will tour Pakistan fairly soon,” he said.

The PCB Chairman also laid out his vision to improve the organizational efficiency of PCB. “Best management practices need to be incorporated in order to ensure optimum level of efficiency,” stated Mr. Khan.

In order to seek expert cricketing opinion where required, the Board of Governors authorized the Chairman to appoint two eminent cricketers as Advisors to the Chairman. These advisors may also be invited to the BoG meetings for soliciting expert opinion on cricketing affairs, as and when required.

Mr. Najam Sethi, Chairman Executive Committee, briefed the Board of Governors about developments related to the Pakistan Super League. He informed the Board that the final plan of action for PSL will be presented in the next meeting. In addition, Mr. Sethi also informed 
the Board of Governors about the new domestic structure and the franchise model for regional teams. Members of the BoG appreciated the efforts of PCB management to improve the quality of domestic cricket. It also was hoped that, under the new model, player remunerations and job prospects will improve further.
The Board of Governors constituted a coordination committee for finalizing the PCB Strategic Plan. The committee will be chaired by Mr. Zafar Mehmood, member BoG and Chairman WAPDA. The committee will present its recommendations in the next meeting after consulting various stakeholders.
